MaurícioMendonça Godoy Becomes Top Executive In Oil And Gas Industry

MaurícioMendonça Godoy is the CEO of Estaleiros do Brasil. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and business administration at Mackenzie Presbyterian University in 1983. He also attended Harvard Business School and has advanced certifications awarded by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance and the Project Management Institute.

He has been the top executive at Estaleiros do Brasil since 2015. MaurícioMendonça Godoy had been the CEO of Toyo SetalEmpreendimentos Company and SOG Company. He was the director of TS Gas do Brasil. He has also held leadership positions at CBI LIX Construções, CodistilDedini, Setal Oil and Gas, and the Technological Innovations Group of the Brazilian Association of Industrial Engineering.

Among the major projects he has overseen at Estaleiros do Brasil is the construction of a shipyard in São José do Norte. In the state of Rio de Janeiro, MaurícioMendonça Godoy oversaw expansions at the Duque de Caxias Refinery and the Terminal de Cabiúnas.
The shipyard was built so that Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) ships could be built at it. These ships are used to drill for and process oil and gas off the coast of the Brazilian state Rio Grande do Sul. The first ship to be built was the P-74 which was completed in April 2018.

MaurícioMendonça Godoy led the development of an award-winning comprehensive management system at Estaleiros do Brasil. This gives his company the ability to track a project throughout its development. Offering a high level of control, it provides the ability to solve problems before they become intractable. The Academy of Art University Sees its 21st Year at New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week is one of the most popular events in the world. It started in 1943 and was known as “Press Week”. It has evolved over the decades to be one of the most iconic events for fashion designers and designer hopefuls all over the world.

 The School of Fashion at the Academy of Art University has participated in New York Fashion Week for 21 years successful years. On September 9th, 2017 at the Skylight Clarkson Square, ten students from the school showcased their collections down the runway. The students, some of whom were from the M.F.A. program and others from the B.F.A. program, collaborated to present five collections that impressed the audience, which included people such as Sara Kozlowski and Ms. J Alexander. With the students being from so many diverse backgrounds, the collections were unique, creative, and inspirational.

The Academy of Art University, located in San Francisco, California, was founded in 1929 by Richard and Ciara Stephens. The school has continued to be lead by the Stephens family over the years, with Richard Stephens Jr. taking over as President in 1951, and then his granddaughter taking over as president in 1992. The original school started with 45 students and limited courses but now has an enrollment of over 14,000 students and offers a B.F.A degree as well as an M.F.A. degree. In 1985, the school earned its first accreditation by National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and is now also accredited by the following organizations:

  • Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA)
  • California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
