His second invention is improved use of the endoscope. Endoscopes are used to take visual pictures for use by the doctors on the functioning of the internal body organs without a scan or surgery. In the current endoscopes the liquid in the body reduces the visibility of the pictures by fogging the lens; hence Dr. Saad came up with the inclusion of the suction-irrigation device in the endoscope to help make the view unobstructed. The suction-irrigation will enable the doctors to suck liquids preventing them from getting clear pictures without removing the endoscope, and it can be used to pour fluid to clean the area around the scope.
